A Board of Advisors comprised of industry experts has been set up to monitor and assist the Reverse Logistics Association management team in making informed decisions. Advisors include:

Edwin Heslinga – Microsoft

Edwin is currently Director of Reverse Logistics Programs and Policies for Microsoft Devices. In his position Edwin is responsible for development and enforcement of policies surrounding returns and all related costs to the returns and is also involved in the Customer Satisfaction Continuous Improvement Council. Working with Microsoft Call Center and the Microsoft Manufacturing Operations Edwin is driving the improvement of consumer satisfaction through agent assisted support and on-line support while managing the costs.
Prior to working for Microsoft Edwin worked for Jabil Global Services as the Director of IT Solutions, where he worked with various teams on the proposal and implementation of reversed logistics services for various companies at the Jabil factories around the world.

Jim Hunt – GENCO

Jim is the Senior Vice President, Business Development for GENCO Technology Services. He has responsibility for account management, new business sales and solutions development. He joined GENCO in July 2012.
Jim is a seasoned general management executive with proven business development skills opening new markets and expanding penetration in strategic worldwide markets; complemented by his global operations and business strategy expertise. He has a demonstrated record of restructuring and revitalizing organizations for success, building and leading high-performance sales and account management teams, analyzing market trends to establish strategic direction, and optimizing sales strategies, concepts and processes for rapid growth.

Prior to joining GENCO, Jim worked for Retail Business Development (RBD) as Managing Director, Technical Services. At RBD, Jim authored and implemented a business plan to create triage, diagnostics, and repair solution software for mobility products to be utilized at the point-of-sale in retail environments or over-the-air in call center support applications. At Celestica, Jim served as Vice President, After Market Services where he was responsible for global P&L for services such as: fulfillment, triage, repair, supply chain solutions, reverse logistics, refurbishment and end-of-life management with a primary focus on handset mobility products. Prior to Celestica Jim served as Vice President, Business Development / R&D for Seagate Technologies, responsible for defining strategy for entry into electronic data discovery, forensics, and data migration applications. Between 2002 and 2007, Jim held several positions with Jabil Global Services including Vice President Business Development. During his time at Jabil, Jim directed the global organization in expanding and enhancing key customer relationships.
Jim holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Marketing/Business Administration from Utah State University and completed the International Leadership Executive Education Program through Harvard School of Business.

Chuck Johnston – The Home Depot

Troy Kubat – Walmart

Troy Kubat is Sr. Director of Specialty & Reverse Logistics for Walmart Stores, Inc. Troy is responsible for the company's U.S. Reverse Logistics networks, which currently includes 6 Return Centers, 6 Returns Consolidation Centers, 7 Used Asset Centers, 1 Material Consolidation Center, and 1 Electronics Refurbishment Center. Also responsible for Specialty Logistics operations that includes the Walmart Print Solutions Center and the Information Technology Center.

Thomas Maher – Dell, Inc.

Tom Maher joined Dell in 1997 and is the Vice President of Global Service Parts. Mr. Maher is responsible for service parts life cycle support in over 100 countries.

Mr. Maherís global service parts responsibilities include: planning, procurement, distribution, returns, repair, inventory management, supplier management and parts disposal. These operations support 100% of Dellís warranty customers across all Business Units and all Product Lines.

Prior to joining Dell Mr. Maher was with Vanstar where he held various positions in after market service parts support. Tom is an active member of the Reverse Logistics Association, Council of Supply Chain Professionals, and sits on the Executive Advisory Board for Arizona Stateís Network for Supply Chain Excellence.

Tom holds a B.A. degree from Villanova University.

Dave Moloney – Google

Operational leader with technical focus, technical leader with operational focus: I flip between both roles as circumstances require. I build operations for consumer electronics startups: business model, process, legal framework, international expansion, NPI, PLM, sourcing talent, forward logistics, contact centers, reverse logistics, wireless certitification, online and backend systems, knowledge management, sleeve rolling-up.

Ian Rusher – Cisco

20 Years within Supply Chain Operations, of which the last 15 Years have been spent in reverse Logistics. Previous experience running 3Com EMEA Warranty/Service Repair Operations, Responsible for both Internal and 3rd party repair operational performance and Engineering support. Moved the operations from a predominantly In-House business to a total outsourced operational model. Last 3 Years at Cisco within Supply Chain Field Operations, setting up the EMEA non Service returns and Cost Avoidance Operations within the Netherlands. Responsible direct for EMEA Freight and Warehouse Operations. During the last 2 years has successfully set up Operational infrastructure to support the Teams Global Revenue targets.

Tony Sciarrotta – Reverse It Sales & Consulting

TTony Sciarrotta has held a variety of sales and marketing positions in the consumer electronics industry for over 30 years, including 25 years at Philips Consumer Lifestyle. His background helped prepare him for a developmental role as director for returns management activities, and in 1998 Tony was assigned to create and manage a cross functional department to reduce returns and their associated costs. He was successful at implementing effective returns policies and procedures with a variety of dealers, and in 2005, Tony assumed responsibility for maximizing asset recovery of all returned consumer goods. Tony has specifically targeted best avenues for reselling returned goods at the model level, by using tools developed with finance support.

In 2013, after establishing best-in-class results for returns in the consumer goods industry, Tony retired from Philips and now is doing asset recovery activities for other companies. Tony also sits on various committees for the Reverse Logistics Association and other industry groups.

Ian Towell – Tesco

Resposible for end to end accountability for the non food returns business within UK Tesco, focussing on improving quality, policy application, asset recovery and logistical flow.

Susan Wackerman – Hewlett-Packard

Susan Wackerman is currently a Sr. Operations Manager in the Americas Supply Chain for HPís Imaging and Printing Group. In her position, Susan is responsible for the Recycling Operations for HP Americas and the Returns Operations / Remarketing for HP Americas Imaging and Printing Group. This includes supply chain development, reverse logistics, disposition and processing, refurbishment, resale, channel management. For Recycling Operations her product responsibilities cover all HP product categories including inkjet and laser printing, digital imaging, supplies, scanners, shared printing, PCs, notebooks, desktops, servers.

In her 22 years of experience with HP, Susan has held a number of management positions in Operations and Marketing including Director positions in the Region and WW Marketing organizations. Her responsibilities have included product marketing, market development, communications, business planning, category management, forecasting, outbound marketing, procurement and outbound operations. These efforts expand across HPís businesses, including the Consumer / Commercial Printing and Consumer PC businesses. These markets include business to business to consumer, direct, and auction

Susan graduated from the University of San Diego, San Diego California. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree.
